Lucy Fisher, former vice chairman of Sony Pictures Entertainment, is
co-head of Red Wagon Entertainment. She and her partner, Douglas Wick, have
produced the movies Gladiator, Stuart Little, Working Girl
and Spy Game, and have received 20 Academy Award nominations and won
seven Oscars. She was the driving force in the establishment of the Warner
Bros.' On-site childcare center, which now serves 100 children and has become
a model for day care centers at other studios.
In addition to her producing career, Ms. Fisher is a founder and board member of CuresNow and an advisor to the Los Angeles Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International.
Ms. Fisher has been awarded the prestigious Crystal Award from Women in Film, and also has received Premiere magazine's Icon Award. She was chosen as one of Fortune magazine's 50 Most Powerful Women in American Business in 1998 and has been named one of the 25 Smartest Women in America by Mirabella.
